The challenge
A furniture manufacturer specialising in high-quality laminated benchtops was running production on systems that could not keep pace with the shop floor. Planning was reactive, inventory counts drifted from reality, and quality checks happened in isolation rather than as a continuous record across each stage of the build.
They needed one place to plan production, track material requirements, capture data as it happened, and prove regulatory compliance through proper traceability — instead of stitching the picture together after the fact.
Our approach
We built a customised cloud CRM on Salesforce that folds Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) capabilities into the platform the business already trusts for customers and quotes. Centralised planning tools cut downtime by smoothing out bottlenecks, while automated inventory tracking keeps stock levels honest and trims waste.
The build runs end to end: store, inventory, procurement and Bill of Materials modules feed a single production view, quote-to-job and delivery tracking close the loop with customers, and quality data is captured at every stage so compliance and traceability come as a by-product of the work rather than a separate chore. Real-time reporting then turns that captured data into decisions managers can act on.
